Reviewed today the many layoffs over the last 6 months. Many, let me repeat, many of these were not related to bad HR yearly reviews, or DMs or WW. Many appear to be more related to the employee's age. Hey, we know of 2 leaders who reported to HR that their managers asked how long they planned to continue working and when they were planning to retire. Of course, HR did nothing. Surprise!! Months later they were gone. How ethical is this? And how many lawsuits is UOP involved in?

HXB- one was laid off, the other appeared to see the writing on the wall and quit. They both had tenure at the University. The vp placed their departments under staff who would have been let go otherwise because their departments were being eliminated. Many of the staff in those areas were let go also based on age and tenure.
What happened to them were they laid off? Fired? Share your opinion as well. I believe it ! Maybe they were making too much money per year and they wanted to get rid of them to reduce debt/payroll? Share your opinion and what you know.
