I worked for Sam's for 30 years. I have been gone for 4 yr and so glad I'm no longer there! I feel so bad for what they are doing to the employees now! I think it's time to unionize! They don't give a damn about people! Try to hang in there!

Walmart is like a cult as that’s what it really is. A company that brainwashes you to think they love their people, our people make the difference.. it’s all a joke and you can clearly see that is all a illusion.
Once you leave, you will find that other companies actually take care of their associates, they promote to a better work life balance,.. it’s really is better out of the club ..
Good luck with Sam’s club and with that I’m out of here . I’m done with this company that continues to move farther way from its culture. The leadership team in place now has no idea what culture is or how to keep it..
Did you see the the top companies employees like to work at ? . Costco was number 1 and Walmart/Sam’s didn’t make the list ...
I'm sure you both racked up a pretty nice 401k and nice stock in those 30yrs. Probably got some great Sam Share in those times. Pretty horrible company to have all those options. Shame you had to leave...
I'm also a 30 year associate and still there... I am so scared... curious if you found another job right away or did it take awhile to find one? or did you retire? Do you get your money right away after leaving? The profit sharing money.. curious of how your doin.. I just want to feel good like you one day..
