If you are one of the "favorite associates" then you are most likely scared and sad at the moment. Those who have covered for you and made you look good are gone. Now you have to actually do your work.
So much this! We lost our best managers. Those who are left are mostly really good butt kissers who never lifted a finger. And now it's all on them. If nothing else good comes out of this whole thing at least I'll get to watch people who mooched off our hard work panic and struggle as they actually have to perform their duties - and then some. And I'll enjoy every minute of watching them most likely fail.
