Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Rec clerk frustration

Another long week has passed and no news about our positions. It's been about 18 months since Walmart did away with their clerk and business office. We all know what happened with business office so how much longer are they going string us along. My t/l can handle everything that comes in during the day and even shuffle the paper work that is left so what's the hold up. We or should I say need to know. They took this once very important position and has dismantled it bit by bit. It can go either way just need to know

Keep you advice. They have a right to be frustrated. They do help out in other area's of the club. They don't need to quit because you don't care for the frustration they feel.Who are you to tell them to quit anyway. They simply want to know that is all they are asking.

My advise is, keep doing your job stay positive and upbeat make yourself an valuable associate so they will not want to replace you. Go above and beyond, if you have extra time go to other areas of the club and help out. If you are miserable and tired of Sam’s Club then quit because there associate who would love to have your job.

I feel the same way. I'm also a receiving clerk. Had this position for 19 years and also soooo frustrated.
