Amazon backlash isn’t far away. They treat their low level warehouse workers far worse than Wal-Mart or other large companies. They pay them poorly and will admit that they don’t focus on them and see as expendable.

Say what you want but you had better take a closer look at Amazon and Target. Go work for Amazon and tell me what you think as reports about working for Amazon are less than glamorous and Target? Really? You think Target is all that? The same Target you are speaking of that business experts are forecasting will be purchased by...Amazon.
Yes, Amazon is blazing the way with their online sells and jumping into new areas however I would suggest you take a much closer look at how they treat their employees. It is said that Amazon is good for a short term job but nothing more. Provide you with a badge to scan in when you work there and the way you find out that you do not work there any longer is that your badge will be deactivated. Nice, this is a place I want to be a part of.
Make no mistake Sam’s/Walmart is not perfect by any means however compared with the likes of Amazon I say good luck with that. I am sorry to hear about all of the closings and people losing their jobs but do not kid yourself in telling others about how great Amazon and/or Target are to work for. I will take my chances with Walmart where I know they will at least give me severance and/or a chance to transfer if I so choose.
The ship is sinking fast for sams club that’s for sure. Every year there will be more and more layoffs as it’s managed by idiots that have no clue what culture and respect is .
I feel sorry for my fellow associates as we are numbers that are used and discarded like trash.
Good luck sams club you will and will always be a worthless second class company compared to Costco , Amazon and Target.
Really, you think? Brand credibility is destroyed. No one would work here if there is a choice. It's lost any benefit or difference from Wal Mart . The Company has given up in the North East it is exiting the business ultimately. That is why they do not fear or care about the disaster they have created . Lots more pain to come. Just a matter of time won't be a year.
