Has anyone heard anything about claims being eliminated?

I heard a year ago, that claims had around two years before it was gone.
But who knows?!
I can see it going eventually. Maybe soon than later. There is so much merch that we don’t ship back anymore.....’was this damaged in the club yes or no’. The biggest part of my time now is book RTVs, finding the crap liquidation stuff, transfers to .com & internet returns. I see little changes every week that are HUGE red flags. So I have a back up plan. It still will be hard after 25 years but at least I won’t be surprised like everyone one was about the audit team. Face it, the world of retail is changing & the working ppl pay for the younger generations ideas. Bend like a tree in the wind or snap in half!
Sam's is working on a program like Home Depot and Target where membership desk processes member returns. A return label will print out and item will just be put on a pallet for shipping. It wouldn't surprise me to have freezer/cooler start doing their own damages like fresh departments . After all they will be managed by a fresh manager. RTV has gotten smaller every year. I'm sure Wal-Mart's plan is to eliminate all full time back room jobs and just leave part time positions. Claims full timers beware
At Walmart, claims absorbed the office associates work and the office positions were eliminated. I expect this to happen at Sam’s as well. Claims isn’t going anywhere, unless we adopt what Home Depot does and the service desk handles all the claims. But I don’t particularly see it going that route because of food claims, and our processes are different.
No, Claims is staying.
claims is not going anywhere.. who would clean up all the crap floor associates leave spilling everywhere?
I agree about audit. No one is safe in my opinion.
I thought that about the audit team.
There’s no way I see that claims can be eliminated. Whatsoever
I've heard we have another year or so but who knows
