Thread regarding Citrix Systems Inc. layoffs

This quote needs to be given special attention. How can DH say we are in the process of rebalancing and still declare there will be no layoffs. Will he guarantee jobs for even those without the needed skills?

The whole DH doublespeak is getting tiresome.

Is there any group here from Raleigh, that have offered jobs after October layoffs, not posting jobs but actual seal the deal?

Very well said @ayro. There seems to be some folks who are trying hard to create an environment of fear with these rumors while none seem to exist except in this forum. Be aware of some of these naysayers folks. Some of these folks seem to have problem with everything, but still are in Citrix, why don’t just leave and do a favor to yourself more than others. If they could not be good to the company (assuming they work at Citrix), how can they be good to you.

Laughable content. People say Raleigh site closing, but there are many job postings open there. People say Citrix is failing, but many job openings everywhere. People say DH is going to layoff people, but he has explicitly stated that will not be the case and if he back pedaled here the street would go wild.

Honestly, the scariest proposition is that the people typing this content actually do work at Citrix and that it hires employees with this poor of a analytical thinking level.

My suggestion, please add your comments, feelings, and feedback on Glassdoor reviews to be more effective and more helpful to others.

Citrix CEO David Henshall is a real piece of work. In corporate speak he is basically announcing continued layoffs while misleading everyone about those layoffs saying there will be no March Event. Note the linguistic dance around the truth? If they don't call it a March Event, then there is none. However that doesn't mean no March Layoffs. He's such a misleading puppet whose strings are being pulled.

There is strong consensus the Raleigh site will be closing this year. The lease has been broken and there is very little hiring planned there.

Actually they are saying they are in the process of rebalancing the new skill sets, which includes hiring to fill open reqs. Doesn’t seem near layoff related, IMO

The quote says the ELT is in the MIDDLE of the rebalancing process so that means we should see the same numbers of layoffs over the next couple of quarters this year...if we interpret this statement properly.

The quote is correct, and the link did limit to two pages. I found the quote in the Q&A section, in a question from Rob Oliver on internal spending to reach goals and attract talent to get there:
