Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Will there be a position created to manage CIM? Our leads don't have adequate time to do effective audits and keep the steels straight. Sounds like they should bring back audit teams!

CIM has been a train wreck since Audit left. Reports they worked are a mess since uneducated TLs can’t handle them and we’re never trained to.

Lost sales and margin, upset members trying to buy stuff via club pickup because its still in the inventory. Full pallets of missing merchandise not noticed past the time that the DC can fix it, and shrink numbers at inventory 10x what they were last year. This all costs the club more money than paying the audit team and Receiving clerk/TL.

There simply aren’t enough floor partners to assign tasks to so the TLs are free to do all the reports and audits needed. And getting any of it done when you close 3 or 4 nights every week? Forget it.

Audit was under appreciated but won’t be back unless there is pressure from large share holders start hearing about huge increases in shrink. And it certainly won’t happen under John and Gisele.

On the Walmart side, their versions of team leads have far more work to complete. They set their own departments, manage thousands of sku’s, do their own price changes, stock merchandise, do their own counts, as well as being expected to help cashier or whatever else needs to be done. Team leads have it easy comparatively. I agree that if they can’t get the work done, they will find someone else. Don’t hold your breath on them bringing back audit. They won’t open themselves up to a lawsuit by Jose who didn’t find new work with the company, and new programs will replace the functions of the audit team.

Our audit team was removed months ago.. steel, floor counts.. on hands etc is completely fubar. It wouldn't take an audit team to fix.. just someone with proper knowledge of CIM and THE TIME to actually fix it. I could do it if i didn't have to spend my whole night trying to keep from drowning in the constant freezer/cooler loads. Point is the problem isn't so much as a lack of an audit team.. but that no one BUT the audit team was given the TIME to spend fixing the issues.

if the teamleads had actually been trained on how to do the audits and steel and if the overnight crew would actually do their job and locate items like they are supposed to do. and if the teamleads weren't actually working the floor because they have no help because we can't hire anyone then maybe We'd have time to do it!!! # pissedoffteamlead #worksherassoff for a company who doesn't appreciate hard workers !!

No, if the team leads cannot handle their job they will be replaced.

If it does get created (our CM if still there) will make that dission on his own. They don't open stuff up for other people, hand picked.
