It is really VERY sad to see what has happened to BBB! Long ago, and for a while, it was a great company to work for. So many people let go, whom I am sure some were old timers that helped make the company grow. Who helped make BBB a great place to grow and work. But when the company went public, and corporate and regional greed took over the company. It started to errode the original company culture and morality for the greedy. I feel for those who put so much of their lives into a company, and then to be cast out the way that they were. When I first started with BBB, I met Warren & Len. I was an asst. mgr not even a month with the company. They talked about the culture they wanted to create to really have good, no, great customer service. The customer and the employee should always come first, if a project had to wait to get done so be it. No one would get in trouble or yelled at. How far that culture has fallen over my 25+ years at BBB . Please tell anyone you know to get out while they can. My contacts tell me also that cuts are coming after inventory! Do not believe any DM's, they will be lying, or don't even know they are next out the door. I have for the most part worked with many great people at BBB over the years. I miss most of them too. Too bad some of them got too greedy and lost the original vision of the culture of BBB . Maybe if the greedy ones would have put some $$ from all the stock they sold off recently into the company and the employees, maybe they would not have had to layoff so many good people who helped make that $. But, the greed they showed over the years is going to make them a lot less richer than they had thought...stock is has been tanking! Glad I am out before the Bed Bath Beyond Blood Bath starts.
Good luck to all!
