Whats crazy is 65% of the direct labor at Sky Harbor are at or above 55 years old. More than 20 people have raised their hand for the riff. Over the last 30 plus years I have never seen a hourly employees received a severance package. My guess is management will not accept any volunteers and push back the layoff until November. That way ,no severance and no matching of company stock. If you are over the age of 50 you are screwed. You are considered a liability not an asset. If there was affordable insurance, ghost town.
