Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Big announcement coming shortly "confirmed"

I am in a senior management position with Mondelez, and I can assure you that DSD will be ending, starting in April of 2018, an announcement will be forthcoming in February 2018 there will be packages and Severance offered to full-time employees, but nothing will be offered to any part time employees, we were told to try to keep everything as normal as possible, so as not to disrupt business until the announcement, the company does not want panic and mass Exodus.

Signs they are everywhere if you look. 18 years, it has been my experience, when it gets quiet lookout because no one wants to drop the ball or spill and it has been extremely quiet for about a month. It will end, and the rallies and Q@A? If you have been around long enough blowing smoke is what we do best! Open your eyes every little thing is scripted we are hardly in control of our business any more yet we are 100% responsible for a number, we can’t even fill orders or have core items during peak selling times.

My Walmart received an email today saying they are going CAO with us in April. I'm sure Krogers and others will not be far behind.

In two weeks Dirk is holding a three day meeting with senior management to strategize how to hit 2018 targets. Hummm, wonder what will be tossed around? Definitely missed financial targets in 2017! Timing would be just about right for an announcement!

This site is such a joke. We are not going any where! We are still servicing Walmart after they implement CAO. Kroger is not going against us any time soon. No one has any fact or evidence to say otherwise.

Kroger has NOT said they are not going CAO, you hear that from the RVP at the rally? If that were the case, why would they be testing it for as long as they have? Seem to have a need to get it right! Frito has been CAO for some time in our market, reps do tweek. Frito knows their time is coming to an end, but they will be one of the last to go. We are next! Started with Hostess, second was Keebler, we are next!

Not fake news, fact!

Not Fake News!!

I bet you're still thinking the Titanic is Unsinkable also!! If you work for the company, and are aware of what's going on around you, then you can see what's coming. And it is coming very quickly! We will work until they tell us to no longer work, but you better be aware and have your head on a swivel. And be seriously thinking about what you're next move is going to be after your eliminated

Anyone with half a brain doesn't need to read these posts to realize what's coming! It's all around us in the field! If you would prefer to lov with your head in the sand then do so, some of us like a little warning and since senior management is talking out all side of their mouthes, you won't get a straight answer from them!

The Rumors are True:

At the end of Q2 2018 DSD will no longer exist. We will find out end of April. Managers will find out beginning of April.

Fianance working on incentive packages currently.

My Uncle is Senior Finance and has informed me.

Huge objective increase for Q1 so it looks like DSD failed. This will give them the excuse.

New CEO is against DSD, that is why the Board of Directors hires him. New NA President has experience with Kraft overseas, that is why he got the job

Product Supply is fine, the product is going to warehouses just not DSD Warehouses.

Time to start looking for new jobs. DSD will no longer exists.

Past severance packages were a week for each year of service, with a minimum of 6 weeks. There is also a max but I cannot remember. Part time gets nothing but hopefully that would change, for a company that operates with so much reliance on part time help we sure have treated our part timers like trash! I've always given a holiday gift for all they do, sad company never acknowledges!
