Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Hey Verizon just keep my 50 shares.

If you’re going to give someone a bonus thats not payable for TWO YEARS!!! just keep the shares cause you need them more than I do. And 50 measly Verizon shares arent worth suffering for 2 more years... no thanks.

50 x share market $price

50 x $54 (hypothetical price) = $2.700

That will cover my house payment, I'll take your shares if you dont want them

Ask if your 50 shares will be paid the dividend and do you get the compounding of dividends for 2 years?

Everyone knows these companies tie in very small print that does not make the Headlines. If you dive into all the companies that gave way money with this, you will find the attachments that leave you with very little.

It did take Verizon a while to get on the media frenzy give away train, I'm guessing due to their legal and financial departments being busy with other projects.

But the bottom line is top fortune 500 companies do not give away money.

@1bow, what is the lie? The Company clearly stated, "subject to acceptance by the Unions."

Did it not?

Sorry no, 2% for the Unions like the Short Term Profit Sharing.

Nice try Loser in trying to suppress the facts.

As of right, you have ZERO shares. The Unions have not agreed to this "gift" yet. They are going to make an issue of it, and do you know why? Because where is THEIR cut?

OP is probably not even an employee. In the off chance the OP is an employee, with that kind of bitterness, he or she should do their self a favor and quit Verizon.
