With just a few days left before Sam’s Club closes its doors in Alaska for good, the state is stepping in to help the retailer's hundreds of Alaska employees find new jobs.
At least some of the employees will stay within Sam’s Club’s parent company, Walmart. But for the ones that won’t, a three-day job fair – featuring about 50 different potential employers – is being held at both Sam’s Club locations in Anchorage.
