Every job I apply for that I am qualified for I an getting an immediate email response saying " you are no longer under consideration." I checked with my previous manager and HR and there is nothing negative on my profile! So WTH!!!!

Humana recruiters are the worse! They need to take the word “human” out of their company name because everyone is simply a number
I applied to over 20 positions I am qualified for, in fact they were posted with the date of January 24th or 25th and some even with the new home health areas they now are having.....and I looked a couple days later NO job, NO job number like they never existed. After that any hope I had of finding another positon with Humans died in the pit of my stomach.
Same here. I look every day at the career opportunities and I have probably applied for 40-50 jobs. Keep getting passed over and I am well qualified for most of them. Are they really hiring people into these roles? Are they even looking at the applications or is it true that the postings are just a formality and the candidates have already been chosen? Pick me, choose me!!
Was a previous employee and had a similar experience. Lead my team in every statistic and could not get hired for another position. It was a blessing in disguise, working for another company now for over 6 months and could not be happier. No more micromanagement and harassing members with the same surveys.
Do not rule out going to another clinical area at Humana. (Like UM, retail, Clinical OPs). Many of those areas are growing and the experience seems to be more positive.
Below poster, does this person feel safe in UM ? Trying to figure out if there is a place in Humana that is relatively safe and not micromanaged to the hilt!
I know someone in the last round of layoffs hired in another position with Humana, UM nurse.
The way the computer dies the initial sweep can impact those initial rejections. Take the key items in the job description and put them in taleo and in the career site.
Same OP. Its frustrating when you are rejected within minutes of submitting an application, and you know you meet the criteria. They post the openings already knowing who they are hiring. Its stupid.
Well, I can comment on the above. I was part of the November layoffs and I applied for a lot of jobs that I was qualified for.. spent numerous hours going through lists that they provided for me only to have my recruiter on limited availability because of the Holidays. I finally gave up on posting for an internal position.
99% of posted jobs are a formality. The hiring manager already has someone in mind. You all need all the requirements AND desirable to be considered. I was told there are hundreds and hundreds applying for each open position.
I never hear of anyone getting a job within Humana after these layoffs. I never hear of much help from the placement assistance either. I hope I’m wrong?
That’s why I haven’t even bothered to apply for anything. Keep your head up and don’t give up.
