What do you think Scan and Go is doing? Eliminating cashier positions, that's what.
Apparently they have tested every scenario you can think of and it passed all of it with no complications. Very interesting concept that had to cost them lots of money to develop it.
There is a robot that already does that.
Can this store handle items that have been put back on the shelves (at wrong locations) by customers?
