Not to offend anybody hate to see anyone loose their job. Think about what you just said go to company set for hour come to club key in go back to company come back to club, how much time did you waste sounds like the whole day. With technology these days why we need anyone knocking on doors. These companies if they want to save their employees money they need to do the leg work after all we supposedly saving them money. Look around you there are fewer and fewer large companies out in the world anymore. So put on your big girl pants and do something else in the club instead of chatting with Human Resources. Trust me I’ve done outside sakes large drives it’s a waste.

To the previous comment obviously you don't work in marketing . We have big companies that pay for their employees .we go there and sit down with management and go over all the renewals then they give us a list of new employees takes about an hour . We go back to club and key everything in so as to not waste anymore of their time . We email them the total amount and go to another location and pick up check . We then go back to store and put in activation codes and ring them up . Then we take them back their temp cards and discounts and a list of renewed and new employees for their books plus the receipt. Some things an iPad can not do

To the poster that said they had a drive - went back to the club to ring up memberships - then went back out to give temp cards......... what the heck!? Did the company not invest millions in our iPads a few years ago? Maybe this is why marketing is failing. No one follows the processs.

I am a member champ and I run register under my own numbers when needed. I also do so much more! I help cashiers better themself with the way they address selling plus memberships/credit cards. I also help in other areas of the club as well as pushing carts when needed! During blitz I go out and do my job just the same as everyone else.

Just because some people don't see everything we do, does not mean we don't work as hard as everyone else!

I don't know about your club but today my tl and I went in different directions . We had 2 drives and several businesses to go to . We came back with 29 renewals ,3new business,1 new plus and 8 new savings then we rang them up and took them back their temporary cards . We Work !

it makes sense. champ does nothing but run s register under someone else’s number TL and especially coordinator have nothing to do. sorry if it hurts your feelings but it’s truth. just as with the acct office. reconcile the day in 4 hrs. then busy work. haha. everyone wants to justify how much they contribute but per job descriptions not 8 hrs of work there on a daily basis. ask rec clerk if his job is 8 hrs. of course not. thank automation and technology for lost jobs.
