If the call centers are looking for "synergy savings", you'll probably stay open.
If not...?
I would LOVE to know what ENB’s m-r-j-a-a policy is on the Canadian side with the recent changes to the legislation. If I recall, it USE to be you guys only got DT’ed if and when an accident occurred...that there were not “randoms” per se. Any Canadian brethren care to enlighten me?
If the call centres are part of a rate based operation ie forms part of a revenue stream collected through a regulated tariff then they will likely not be outsourced.
Monaco would outsource his own mother if he could. Investors are breathing down his neck.
I gather we could assume if Enbridge outsourced its call centre years ago then they will definitely outsource both the Thunder Bay and Brantford call centres? I guess we are all just speculating but I am thinking why wouldn’t they outsource the Uniongas call centres right? They could pay an outside company probably half of what those call centre people make and would save Enbridge millions, but all speculation unless someone has insider info?
Well over 10 years, at least since 2002
Read the MAAD application. The greatest savings expected from integrating the two utilities comes from customer care.
Yes the Enbridge call centres, but there are two Uniongas call centres just wonder if they’ll be outsourced once we are all Enbridge?
The call centres have been outsourced a long time ago. It may have been more than 10± years now.
