HE layoffs have started. It’s underway now just heard of several that were let go in IT.
Buyers, Market mangers, Inventory, Advertising, IT, marketers, 81and other non-essential employees. That's all i know
They had layoffs last week and something close to 400 layoffs are coming on January 31st but no one knows 100%.
@3bcj You are right. No one is getting raises/bonuses unless they are being promoted into another job. And then sometimes that is dicey too. I also chuckle when someone says there are bonuses for those in headquarters or 401k matches. There haven't been 401k matches since about 2005 or so I think. Bonuses at least in our department haven't happened since about 2010 I think.
In spite of all that, I currently like my job and the people I work with. But as is with everything and when you work for a corporation, you never know from day to day what could happen.
I work at HE, don't know who the people are "getting the raises and bonuses." Sure isn't me. Haven't had a bonus or raise in a long while. People at Hoffman are getting laid off too. Heard of one department that will be cut 30%.
In my opinion upper management above store manager needs the simple store process
With automation and technology why not streamline district manager and regional manager into one
The workers are NOT the problem
Where’s our bonuses with all the tax incentives being handed to corporations like the others are handing out?? Oh that’s right those layers and layers of upper management are getting the raises and bonuses while the worker gets their hours cut
Yep.. the deeper their nose is to the bosses rear end the safer they are and they get the hours too
It’s almost like Payton place
The butt kissers simply remain, and so most (if not all) Hoffman Estates employees need not worry.
Higher paid salaries and they keep them. Lower salaried in the stores and they get cut. Smart thinking
Don't worry there will always be something better.
Not soon enough, drain the swamp for good
