For these next layoffs will these folks be offered the same packages as the associates who had stores close?
The 60 days paid, etc.?

wow, what is really going to happen this week?? I mean geez I’ve seen about every type of scenario. Everyone’s anonymous. Come on now, what is fact here?
Talked to different general managers in different markets and neither has a conference call on monday. Both were expecting to get word on one but did not.
So, these have been pushed back 1 week basically?
There is no Monday meeting, market mgrs have a meeting on the 24th to go to. Should be soon after that.
Unfortunately no one below the market level knows. Monday is the mandatory meeting with the club managers. We should all find out this coming week.
What jobs are next to be eliminated?
Not that I am aware of. There could be laws in certain states that require it however.
Yes once the layoff announcements are made you have 60 days to secure another position. Also there is always a date you are required to stay till in order to receive your severance if choose that route. So for anyone that is in a position to be laid off you will at minimum be working the next 60 days. Then if you leave you recieve severance. Yes you will get the most recent bonus and Sams share if your club qualifies for one.
For the Gas station attendant question .
It is required by law that our gas stations are manned by and attendant when open for business.
how safe is gas attendant job rite now ?? hmm
60 days to find another position
So for those whose position becomes eliminated, do they have time to find a position elsewhere?
Does this become effective immediately upon announcement, and what timeframe is required?
Yes they will receive the recently announced bonus
Will these associates be paid the announced bonus from last week? Let's say an associate of 10 years of service!
Your ptc can tell you what your current average is
No it will not be the same when clubs are closed as that is a completely different benefit package.
for those that will be laid off you get one week of pay for every year you were with the company and it’s all based on your average hours worked in the last 12 weeks so if you average 30 hours then times however many weeks you are going to get by that and that would be your pay out and obviously Taxes would come out ....14 year associate would get 14 weeks of pay so times 14 by your average hours worked times your hourly wage
