I tried to find some info on yesterday's layoffs in the media, but there is absolutely nothing.
Literally, not one news link pops up when you type in Cisco and layoffs and limit it to the past 24 hours.
There are discussions from this site and some comments on Glassdoor, but that's it.
Why is this the case? Are layoffs really such non-news these days? People losing their livelihoods not s-xy enough topic for news?
This all makes me sick.

No layoffs? Heh. My team was reduced to 2/3 of what it was due to "restructuring". I was included in the 1/3 that was cut.
Is not unusual AT ALL for csco to do stealth LRs. Call it a "trimming down". Has happened many times before, if it is below a certain number, they do not have to report.
Don’t you understand yet? THERE WERE NO LAYOFFS. Everything is going just fine. Anyone who says that they were laid off is just a negative hater that’s trying to destroy a great business led by wonderful people.
