Folks this is the time we really need to get the Union to step in. This RIF crap is NOT going to end until we do something about it. If you want to stay quiet about what’s happening you’re out of your mind. Take charge and let’s tell HW Corporate to take a hike.

So cute that you think the RIF's & offshoring would stop if you try to unionize.
Organized labor might have saved Honeywell a few years ago, but they're too deep into the death spiral at this point.
NOPE! Unions never stopped RIF ‘s, layoffs, right sizing or any other title you may have.
Unions is the fastest way out of a job with Honeyhell. I’m part of transitions and they lothe unions. Go ahead, make their day.

It doesn't prevent RIFs but it's proven that people in unions get paid better and get better benefits than their non union counterparts. Union carpenters, union plumbers, union cooks make a sh-- ton more. Union engineers get bonuses and raises that the company can't screw with as they wish.
Tell me more about how a union prevents RIFs....
