Can someone weigh in please- is coverage team going away?

Here is my understanding: coverage team will be joining HCM RNs on teams. They will still do coverage calls for their new teams and it is regional. They will address "In draw next" rather than Auto Dialer.
My coach told our team that coverage team was helping the triage nurses because they were overloaded. I guess different coaches come up with their own stories to tell us. I don't believe anything we're told.
I thought they just got rid of management and aligned them under coaches

We were told in our team meeting that the coverage team was going away and those nurses would be absorbed into teams with the reteaming going on due to the lay offs.
I was told this week coverage team was overloaded with everyone taking time off. Are they gone?
Pretty sure it’s gone but the nurses will be making HCM-RN calls. We were not really given the whole story about what happened to that group. Surprise surprise.
