RIFed folks don’t despair. Y’all are the lucky ones. You get out of this train wreck and get a head start on job hunting and also get a nice severance and health care benefits too. Humana has created an unhealthy work environment for HAH. Toxic, poison. The COMs are stepping on the coaches and associates and forcing the coaches to step on the associates too. The associates are backstabbing each other and it can be done even more secretly because we are virtual. The remaining associates are being shuffled like a d$@n deck of cards and being forced to give up established members they have built rapport with and move to entirely new regions. Is Humana REALLY about the member. Puh-leeze. If they were they wouldn’t be turning these poor members like pancakes. We will have all new rosters, many with brand new members, no surveys done, no relationships built, no care plans or meds. So starting from scratch and supposed to do a thorough detailed complete job within 4 days of showing up on our roster and stay within 8 hours a day. Absolutely no overtime. Oh and they insist we take breaks and lunch and wellness time. Oh and metrics don’t matter. Can someone pass me a pad I think I peed myself just laughing. They are setting us up for failure- it can’t be done folks- so they can put us on a PIP and terminate us or scare us into leaving. Ugliest place I have ever seen. I’m headed back to bedside nursing-even changing bedpans isn’t this dirty. Im glad I don’t have to see my coach or COM- I would have to snarl. If I make it to the next RIF in April and get my pink slip, I will have a party.

TO the puking poster....while I was rif, do you get what is being put on those that are staying? The increased work load, less people. Metrics, etc.. .and the blindfold of transparency that humana has? We get to look for jobs, we had advanced warning it was happening, and then given the layoff notice. I choose to ride it out, hoping I wouldn’t be laid off, since it’s easier to work a job you are stressed at than to stress about a job you don’t have. Puker, as much as you would have wanted to stay. Humana didn’t want you...or me.....rejected pure and simple, and like a breakup, it hurts, and makes no sense and we try to find answers to explain it....but, to quote the title, he’s just not into you. Those left are dealing with a mess, going hourly isn’t helping matters, and the bottom line is serving the members
The Layoff has standards which includes no profanity. So to you my friend I offer sincere words of encouragement. Go forth and multiply you thoughtless douche. Many of us let go would be happy to have the work. You make me puke.
I wish there was a "like" button. Yes, agreed. I'm envious of the RIF'd. I hate to say it but I am. HCM RN role is going down the tubes. We will be like telemarketers... I need time as well to look for employment.
Like you were reading my mind. I dread every day working under such stress. My health is really suffering. Trying to find something new but have not had much time to look. No way we will be able to keep up with metrics with hourly.
I second this in entire post. Humana is very toxic!
