there are 2 alpharetta offices, one is business only and the other is mainly customer service and a tech group, I think tech only has like half a wing customer service has the most of the building.
Alpharetta is Business Customers only and Hanover only does Business and Government. Those will probably be the only call centers left standing along with Salt Lake City.
Murfreesboro isn't closing.
You missed a bunch of centers, including Hanover, Alpharetta
Summer has come and passed
The innocent can never last
Wake me up when September ends
Like my fathers come to pass
Seven years has gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends
Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again
Becoming who we are
As my memory rests
But never forgets what I lost
Wake me up when September ends
You forgot Murfreesboro.
So that leaves:
Wilmington
Charlotte
Columbia
Greenville
Rolling Meadows
Chandler
El Paso
Salt Lake City
Did I get that right?
Franklin going HBA
Huntsville gone
Mankato gone
Charleston Gone
Little Rock gone
Hilliard gone
ABQ gone in 2019
Employee accounts gone
Fin Svcs gone
which lines up with the one in central time zone
Meeting @ 3:30 in Charleston call center
I hope you always wanted to work HBA
Oh they are there plus HR and EAP. They've been sitting in a training room.
you have not herd hide nor hair because they have all been locked away in a training room.
Nope, they didn't show up to Mankato today. Haven't seen hide nor hair of anyone above an SM. Stop feeding fires that aren't there.
My wife works in quality and her director is in chandler and showed up to Mankato unannounced today
Anyone know which centers are impacted?
Center is closing no time frame, it’s customer care and we might be offered HBA positions.
What are the others?
Yes it is closing; along with a few others. Its a blessing in disguise.
If you noticed, they only posted for new hires on indeed.com but nothing internal. I think if we shut down, they will give people who qualify the option to work from home or transfer to another center. So keep your stats up and don’t go on any type of corrective action!
Well you know the building is for sale and their not fixing the roof for us! I know our lease is up next year anyway! I wouldn’t be surprised because our center is last out of every center! Seems like management game up!
Well, now would be the time for closures before the shift bid starts. Nothing is finalized so it's not too late. I've heard rumor something is happening tomorrow, but no idea what. It could be something silly. I guess we will all find out of special visitors start showing up tomorrow morning!
There's almost 600 people getting ready to bid in Charleston. While nothing is impossible......it doesn't seem likely
Sorry for the typos
The wireless side has been closing centers since 2012. Your center could be next or it could be a couple of other centers. You won’t know for sure until it happens. The best thing you can do is be mindful about your financial situation. Prepare for losing your job and if it doesn’t happen... at least your in a better financial position. Holly Hess moved from oath to verizon comm to work on the project to cut 10 billion in operating cost and capital expenditures. At this point, it is anybody’s guess where that 10 billion will be cut. Worrying isn’t goin to change anything. Instead, put your energy in managing your finances.
