I accepted early retirement and got released on nov 22 together with the ones who got laid off. I was paid until

Jan 12 and the ones who got laid off were paid until jan2. I have been with Humana for 8 years. I hope and pray that those who got laid off will be released soon so you can move on. Good luck and all the best to everybody. An ex HcmRn here. 🙏

Agreed. I need to find another job, and right now this market is flooded. Not having time to work on that job search is severely hampered by not being released early yet. Every other group received early release, it's not a stretch for us to expect the same treatment they got.

@qzk do you really think that a person that has 4 weeks of severance, like me, has time to apply, get a interview and go through screening in 4 weeks. NO. Apparently you are ine of the one impacted. I have been applying, received rejection emails, interviewed using my PTO. Have you used your PTO for interviews due to being laid off. Some of use will not have but 1 month severance and we are sole income provider for the family. Yes we want out early so we have a chance.

@xfh- you think humana is playing “head games” @xae you want to be let go to look for a job? Did you not ever have to look for a job while still employed? Look after work hours for jobs and send out resumes? Take time off for going to interview? Humana has an exceptional layoff package, where you are released early and are basically paid as if you were working and can job hunt for a month, on them....and you call it a head game? There’s no game. Grow up. Humana is trying to work with you. I’m not a troll, Mr. PT, HR, or anything else you want to accuse me of, but you all are posting some really “they owe me” kind of posts. Do you get what a great deal you have with the severance. Even if you don’t get released early?

I am so sick of the head games! We aren't accomplishing anything, just freaking let us go already!

The stress of this is horrible. Can we just get some closure and time to apply and go to interviews. Please let us find out something soon

We'll get an email at 6pm like the lay off notice if we're even that lucky. Humana loves to make us suffer as long as possible for a corporate excuse.

Nope...was really hoping to hear something today. I think in the past, they generally got advance notice? At least several days to a week ahead?
