what about bakers theyre getting a raise ? meat market cutters going for $18, what about overnight ?in a sams near us nearby they eliminated overnight. Its now 3pm-12 & 12-7am ...the only fresh assistant manager we had now belongs only to meat market and hms and produce .... they're hiring another one for bakery and rotisserie. Two managers got fired. front end manager & loss prevention is no more available.

$11.00 x2%=. .22

.22 x 40hours x 52 weeks =$457.60

or $8.80 extra per week before taxes.

One Change they were going to make was to start giving low income associates a chance to take home some of the produce that is normally given to donations. After examining the plan they decided to not let associates take the food because in might encourage them to stay which would in about thirty years lead to significant wage increases. So rather than take a chance like that they figured that once the associates got hungry enough they would move on to other places to work allowing for new hires to come in at beginning wages thus ultimately decreasing payroll.

Pay cuts across the board. And the more they can cut the bigger bonus your GM gets.
