What a bunch of whining babies. Get a life. Look around you and see what a mess the country is in and you are all complaining? You should be ashamed of yourselves. This is supposed to be the caring profession? I hate to imagine what an uncaring profession would be like. You should all step back a little and see this as an outsider does...

This is a layoff, everyone takes it so personally and has to beat it to death. From the looks of the upcoming model, you should be happy if you were let go. I am. I love my members too, but I’m pretty sure most of them get what’s going on without me saying a thing.

Part of me is hoping that you are “attempting “ (in a very insensitive way) to say...Hey, this is big and yes it is scary but thank goodness it’s not Cancer or a house fire that has devastated your life. But, I have a strong suspicion you think you’re smarter than everyone else. I bet your surveys are always up to date, I bet you are always calling ahead of your roster, I even bet most of your calls are under 15 mins...and I bet despite working with some members for a while- you really don’t know them because you are as sensitive as a robot. Yes-This is just a job, yes I was affected, yes I am devastated because I loved what I did and I know I was great, yes- I know I will find another job so while I have a sense of peace I also have fear of the unknown. Don’t attempt to lessen what someone else is going through. Being the robot you are...I’m sure you would take getting laid off like a pro. Best of luck to your members...I pray they have a support person in their life to help empathize other than you.
