It's a waste of time and money...... Someone said 'hey, this is what is being called the more collaborative work space environment, maybe we should do this'. This place just continues to go downhill, morale is horrible (even after STI and small two year stock bonus).... Just a mess with no direction... And to think how much I really enjoyed working here , at is until the last 10 years, now it's just a clown show with people trying to figure out who's a-- they need to be kissing to keep job ...... Not about talent anymore, worst version of good Old boy network ever....

I hope they made a"safe area" at every location for the new millennials.

It's all about saving some money on real estate with no care about productivity hits. If it's such a good idea, why do the senior executives insist on maintaining their own offices segregated from everyone else? You know it's bullsh!t when our "leaders" don't walk the talk.

A similarly stupid move was made by ditching outlook in favor of gmail and other google apps. In the presentation given by the hacks explaining this, they claim the move is designed to make verizon more hip so they can attract millenial employees.
