hey ppl, I do live in Canada and hundreds of ppl if not thousands got let go this week!
I was one of them and some ppl I worked with during my career as suffered the same faith!
lots of front line ppl with familys!

Layoffs are part of Pepsi's DNA. They will continue as long as the current regime is calling the shots whether the company is doing good or bad, if the economy is excellent or sh--ty, it doesn't matter.

Typo in last post. Agreed EBW, so much mis-information on this page! Spewing fake news isn’t helpful to anyone. And no, jobs are not going to Canada. They were also subject to layoffs and have not absorbed jobs from the US as you’re implying.

Word of caution: so much misinformation on here. The HQ office is not closed tomorrow. Employees have the option to work from home, but I know plenty who will be in the office. Just like any other Friday. You can usually spot fake posts from a mile away - so generic, phony and dramatic. Trying to prey on readers by using standard business lingo and then drop some stupid one liner. Posts from real PEP staff are immediately evident.
