I know these are a few horrible days for a lot of people and I truly don't mean to make light of it, but I would personally be happy to be cut in this round. Actually, if there was an option previously for me to indicate that to somebody in charge I would have, but if they knew I wanted out they'd probably wait me out to quit to save on severance. Hopefully my wish gets fulfilled tomorrow (or today) and somebody else who wants to stay here gets their wish as well.

Yes, I do hope that I'm on the list, but hope that I'm given one year to train my replacement, I want those many years of severance and time to prepare.

I am with you on that wish but I agree that it would not have worked in my favor. I believe someone on my team was notified a few minutes ago so I do believe it has begun at some locations. FLHQ.
