To mgs I think you need to keep your mouth shut and let those people that need to vent do it It is easy to be positive when you are working and paying the bills ....have a little empathy and compassion....let’s see your positivity when you are cut

There is no known lay off in April at this time. These people are making things up.

@mgs Please do us all a favor and yourself a favor and see if you can find another job. The portrayal that you give is so hopeless. Maybe the stress is getting to you. We need to grab some positivity. Creating fearfulness, accusations, etc before they even happen is not creating a good work environment. It is apparent that Humana is trying to change many things. Maybe we need to at least give them a chance. Then, if we don't like it, we can have a valid complaint. But, until then, maybe we should, at the very least wait for the rollout before we complain about the micromanaging that we think they are going to do or the PIP that has not happened yet. Another happy hourly employee here.

As a PHC who went from salary to hourly years ago, I can tell you I was not any more micromanaged. I still took breaks when I wanted, got up and used the restroom when needed, ect. What it did do was force me to end my day at 4:30. I didn't work an extra 2 hours for free any more. I felt a sense of relief. It will put you and your teammates on equal footing. You won't have those few people on your team killing themselves by working until 7p just to be top dog of the group. You know the ones who make your metrics look pathetic! Take a deep breath, hourly is a good thing!

I love the idea of hourly. No more free time to Humana. Probably there is no hidden agenda with the number of class action lawsuits that have been looming at Humana's doorstep. Many companies, not only insurance companies (like Aetna, Cigna, etc) but other corporations are cracking down on the "salaried" limitless overtime and converting people to hourly. As far as GPS tracking, it is the new norm now in many industries and Humana would have been the same sooner or later. Most companies are GPSing their employees already, checking computer time, log ins, key strokes, placing GPS in phones, laptops, cars........ Maybe this is just good legal practice for Humana, did you ever think about that? And, how can this NOT be to our benefit? I don't get it. But, as I am listening to the naysayers (and I am not management), I am concerned with the complaining that perhaps there had been a lot more goofing off than I ever thought.... "he who protesteth to loudly, is probably guilty." Track me. I would prefer you didn't. It is a little invasive on my privacy. But, at the end of the day, I really have nothing to hide..... just don't put a camera on me while I am p--pooing. Thanks Humana.

Humana cannot be trusted. Going hourly is not a good thing. They will micromanage us even more. Basically if you cannot do your job in eight hours you will not have a job. My coach said that overtime will have to be pre-approved and that is not likely to happen. I am not trying to be mean but be realistic PLEASE! And for all those people that now work over 40 hours to meet metrics be prepared to be on a PIP.

Some people on my team go over the metrics In their delusional belief that they will not be cut. We an thank them if metrics go up. Idiots

Today was predicted because this round as well as 1-4 were PLANNED as part of the major restructure. Coaches and leadership were made aware of the coming changes so we were able to deduce when based on prior layoffs. They did think at one point they would be done, after round 2 but after further analysis rounds 3,4 and 5 were then planned 4 and MF had to eat his words of no more layoffs.

Doomsdayers?! Seriously. Get a clue or rather nevermind. Clearly you have not been paying attention to the last 4 rounds of lay offs have you? And for the record, even before the last round of lay offs someone predicted today specifically as when this round would occur. I am not trying to be rude, but I feel some people are living in an alternative reality or something.

It's been said before no more planned. And how many of us will be on that call this morning? Roughly a thousand of us? I have no idea if layoffs will occur in April, but I do know you can't trust them when they say "none planned".

We were told yesterday there are no more planned layoffs. These were the last in the big plan. Can't say they won't change their mind, but this was to be the last in the big restructure. Those saying March and April are guessing. They are the usual doomsdayers

All OT has to be approved before working it and coaches were told absolutely never approve it.

OT will not be as easy as you think to get, they want to see what you can do in 40 hours, they’re not going to pay you OT for paperwork and documentation

What’s the main concern about hourly versus salary? It seems like a good change, no more OT without being paid.

I’m assuming they’re using the timing of the hourly roll out is with the 30 day period where those impacted could be released. The survivors may need overtime to catch up on what’s left....then they’ll use it to track who can really do the job in 8 hours and cull from there....prior thread posters who said the CMs were working extra hours to get their numbers? If management is reading this, the going to hourly may have been inspired by that, no mattter how it’s spinned. Weeding out to the best of the best, they used a phrase once in a town hall....not best in show, but something that sounded dog show related
