I had a Walmart manager tell me they were taking over Nabisco ordering soon. said he could get fired for just telling me that, but I've known him for years and he wanted me to know. Because I work for Mondelez ( Nabisco ) he said some stores will start getting orders as early as middle of February and by middle of April all stores will be ordering their own product. it's pretty sad our company will not tell us this, we have to hear it from someone else, and all they do is deny deny deny! Right up until the part when they tell us we no longer have a job! and they expect us to be loyal! What a joke!

To the fool who posted last wake up and do something for your self your a moron to think dsd is staying u must work in hr fanning more smoke and mirrors because most of use a realize the game up stop your bs talking I encourage all to hit send on your resume look after yourself that the best advice u will get all day. I didn't think it made much sense about Kelloggs. It's a shame that they can't be up front and honest. Wonder how much longer this smoke screen will go on?
The rally meetings are intended to make people feel their jobs are safe so they don't have a mass exodus. They need people to finish out DSD. That is a really embarrassing line they are feeding you, "Keebler is thinking about getting back into DSD". That is completely wrong! You think they spent millions and millions of dollars and less than a year later they are getting back into DSD? They finished 2017 at 125% in Q4, we finished down! They are taking advantage of people's lack of knowledge! Don't let them dummy you down!!
My Walmart said that they haven't heard anything about us going warehouse.
Why all the rally meetings then if we're exiting DSD soon? My boss said that we have nothing to worry about. He said that Kelloggs was starting to call people back to work. He said that they're thinking of getting back into DSD.

Everyone is paranoid. We're just going CAO. Nothing to worry about. We'll still be working orders and delivering from our warehouses. Nabisco is too big to ever go warehouse like Kelloggs did. We're committed to DSD my manager told me.
I see what's going on here. Nabisco is gradually transitioning over to warehouse. Kellogg's transitioned cold turkey. There were severe problems with out of stocks. Nabisco saw this. That's why Nabisco reps will still be able to 'tweak' orders until retailers get caught up. The end is near.

Is the pending order going through Wal-Mart's warehouse?
I asked a manager to scan mondelez product this week and it showed pending orders. Says first ship date is 2/16, stay tuned! I truly believe the rally meetings were indeed a smoke screen, unless of course we are going to be pioneers in creating a new DSD model. After being down 2.4% over PY seems hard to believe we are in a place to take such a risk! Would think it was more about saving money, not wasting it! Something is no doubt about to happen!

A sales rep in my territory had tried ordering 4 different SKUs in for 3-4 weeks straight to this walmart.. He waited and waited. Nothing.
So, he got with the store manager one day when he saw him with a handheld scanner and asked him to scan the product to see if it was available to order via Walmart warehouse. It said all 4 SKUs were available.. so the Store Manager proceeded to order 1 case of each of those SKUs..
And guess what..
The very next Day it was delivered on WALMARTS grocery truck...

How do you know our contract is expired in April?
Is it just Wal-Mart's contract expired or everyone's?
All the contracts expire in April ,that's when all the major changes will start occurring. Product is already being sent to Walmart Warehouse as we speak, why would they need product in their warehouse if we were going to be still delivering it?
As a ex-keebler, 35 year employee its sad to see what these company's have come down to.Used to see the same people five days a week,ran around together off time,became good friends.And have watched our company's dump us for a higher profit margin.It says a lot about our country.
Rally meeting told us that we're still merchandising and reps can tweak orders supposedly.
So are we supposed to still merchandise and"tweak" orders at Walmart?

Blind NOS orders, how stupid! Watch how things fall apart when WM goes warehouse! Imagine if no more NOS orders or loading back rooms and all of a sudden sales are actualized and not overinflated, things may look a little different.

i wouldn’t spend much time trying to adjust orders Wal-Mart going to have to swim on there own while u are out of a job soon what real point is there to concern yourself with adjusting orders when Wal-Mart takes over ordering
be pro-active. work on your resume. get your resume OUT ASAP. If you truly think this will happen, thousands more on top of us ex-K reps will be on the street. Get a job b4 the music ends.
Theyve already told us at the rally. Walmart taking over order writing april 1st. They claim" we will still be working ordere and be able to adjust" incoming orders..

I also work for Mondelez, and I had a store tell me something very similar, so where there's smoke there's fire.
I work for Walmart, and I can confirm that this is definitely true, they told us at one of our divisional meetings a while back
