Here's an idea for you the Sif has been around for over a year now. The whole goal for the Sif is so that way you can go in and not have to worry about a business having 250 employees to get into them. It allows you to go into businesses with smaller amounts to offer them great deals. If you are not utilizing the S I have to Bringing numbers regardless of whether their business or personal membership then you're doing yourself an injustice. Being a part of your chamber of commerce, get with your City Licensing Office get you a list of monthly new and renewing business licenses to help you. Yes true the company wants 20 or 25 new businesses every Blitz but if you're unable to get a business it still looks good that you brought something in utilizing the Sif for personal membership. If you walk in in the business does have a membership do you ask if they need to renew? Do you tell him about the new programs. Do you help them set up online so that way they can try out club pick up? Going out in the field should also include being able to help the member in their environment to make it easier for them. It gives you an opportunity to help management and home office gauge better service for our members.

Rather than just sit there and point fingers on Whose job is gone ask your self how have I made myself indispensable for my club. Yes I have the fear that my position will go away but at the end of the day I'm okay with that. The reason for that is because I have given everything I can to my job and to my members and I will always be satisfied that at the end of the day I did my best.

For those that walk around and look at what others are doing and saying well they need to go should really look in a mirror. If your feet aren't sore at the end of the day if you're not tired and worn out and mentally drained then you really haven't given everything you can. After all if you have any time in the company you are a role model and an example for those that are just getting hired.

I make each day fun for myself I'm down to earth for my members. And I try to be there for my associates whether it be personal or work-related they can always come to me. The problem I have after that is getting management to support me to help my members and Associates out. On the other hand you have those members and Associates the take advantage of the situation. And those are the ones that we need a weed out. If you don't want to work or Friday night and you just call in making others suffer you should really look at somewhere else to work. After all you do work retail and most retail is open 7 days a week. If you do nothing but gossip and rumor at work you should really find something else to do. You are no longer in high school nor should you act like you are. If you're not a team player then I don't want you on my team. If you're not giving your marketing team leads to go after then you're not helping yourself. Everyone of us live in different areas and no different people we could all help the numbers and growth by giving each other leads. Take the time to learn other areas in the club not only to help coverage but to give the best service we can.

If you're worried about your job then have a plan B. It doesn't matter if you've been with the company 2 days or 20 years you can always do something else as well. Growth in Opportunities not just inside the club you can do more if you put your mind to it. You see people and businesses inside your clubs on a daily basis learn about what they have and what they do. Not saying go out and seek another job from those but it will help educate you on what other opportunities there are and how you can help them grow too.

How dare you. Your comment represents the old, stale, failing policies that helped shut the doors of 63 of our clubs. The "make it happen,"get it done",pick it up", step it up," and just meet your goals approach of management end has come.
