What happened to electromagnetics/resistivity group at NB?

Heard there were major layoffs in electromagnetics and resistivity at North Belt? What's going on?

If oil and gas reservoirs are in the first 300m of the subsurface, it’s a useful tool. Deeper than that, as pretty much anything other than the La Brea tarpits are, and it’s useless. EM could help Jed Clampet figure out where to point his varmint rifle!

Baker also laid off half its e/m team a few weeks ago. Seems all Hal and Baker guys landed at a Chinese company, some Skunkworks project. Any clues, anyone?

nobody does - there is more concern regarding chef’s getting the tuna skroodle on the cafeteria lunch menu on a regular basis.
