Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Does anyone else

Have a manager that speaks a different language (ebonics?). Pretty sure all the kool-aid they've been drinking has affected their motor skills and speech. Same with our DM. This is absolutely frustrating when being coached and not having a clue on what criticism they're trying to give.

Anyway, hope everyone had an "ok" novemeber. The first is tomorrow, then hopefully Q1, I'll be riffed.

I had a field tech manager answer a customers question with a "Makes me no never mind" then in the conversation told the customer that he was "Beating a dead horse to death" and that he was comparing "Oranges to Oranges"

I wanted to crawl under a rock and wondered what company do I work for

Throw 'Black Ink', 'Baskebtall Wives' and some RHoA in your DVR to catch up. An whilst it is no longer part of the current nomenclature my 'brows remain on fleek.

@gmp, in the 70s and 80s , I worked at 140 West St NYC headquarters. I remember when you could not leave your desk to go to cafeteria without your suit jacket/sportcoat on.

This is what bothers me the most about this company. We are supposed to be a Fortune 50 company. Hell, we used to wear suits. This is supposedly one of the hardest companies to get a job with, and yet everyone speaks like we are at the club. What happened to speaking like a professional to your employees?
