I know that not all are bad. I know that several try really hard and are Just as frustrated as we are. But seriously, why does it seem like so many are so bad? My coach hasn't worked more than 5 full days in the last 2 months. And no, I am no exaggerating that. I've kept a log of how often she leaves early and she leaves at lunch nearly every single day. If she works at all. But ALL she does talks about is how unfair it is for her to have to take on more associates and how she just doesn't have the time to do any of her work. So she delegates it to us to do for "leadership building." If we complain we are labeled not a team player. I've had 2 teammates just fired, not laid off, fired after bringing up what she does. I wish I could say my coach was the exception, but I've talked to other people who share similar stories about their coaches. Maybe instead of micromanaging us to death with audits, someone should take a look at the leadership structure.

Well in my opinion, the best coaches have already left or were impacted. Re-teamed 3x and each is less welcoming than the last
I was reteamed earlier this year after the first round of layoffs. My coach had made it known all year long that she resents having to take me on. The others that were reteamed with me have all since quit because of her and humana in general. And now she's getting even more re teamed associates. I'm sure they are getting the same treatment.
Look at some recent posts. Coaches instructing PHC’s to give medical advice to help get contacts. Coaches threatening PIPS as a way to boost numbers between layoff announcements. Coaches who are known for not taking well to reteamed associates. Coaches who prefer male associates to female. And yes, some very good coaches who do not micromanage and demean.
Is the problem really the coaches or is it the higher ups pushing so hard for contacts and productivity, that some coaches are cracking under the pressure? They are human after all.
