Hardware engineers laid off in BUR on Sept 1st may have been surprised when Oracle subsequently fedexed them a letter suggesting they apply for hardware development engineer positions. Not to worry, seems Oracle is being pushed to justify H1b visas and decided to advertise [and interview] for jobs that are already taken.

Juxtaposed upon the RIF element of the restructuring plan is an element of bailing from certain metro areas while hiring in others. For example the Bay Area is SOL, Boston a bit SOL. The new jobs are in larger numbers in Pac NW and Austin.
Oracle’s Jobs Database is not kept up to date. There are openings there that are from years ago, where people were hired into the position and then left years ago.
Tell them to F-OFF!
bwahahahahahahahah ... Oracle hiring in SPARC? BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I'm really ROTFL, SPARC in Oracle is completely dead, only Fujitsu is now continuing to invest in this platform, not sure for how long though. Oracle is investing (too little, and too late) in linux for ARM64, with a small research project that will most probably never see the light, and that's all Oracle is doing outside of the x86 world.
That is not correct, Oracle is hiring in SPARC and Linux
