HPE has quietly begun to lay off yet more programmers and software engineers.

HPE still supports OpenStack in its Helion cloud program, but it's cutting way back on how much it's spending on helping create OpenStack.

HPE's cloud story remains complicated. While the company has left the public cloud behind, it will continue to offer its OpenStack-based Helion 3.0 as a private cloud.

Why this thread now? It is a 1 year old episode. Are you doing news re-runs? If you are doing that, there are over a 100,000 layoffs that have happened since 2004. Everyone knows it. It ain't newsworthy as far as this blog is concerned.
