Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO START THINKING ABOUT YOURSELF; MOLINA ISN'T AND NEVER WILL AGAIN.

From the comments in this forum from those still employed by this train wreck of a company, it's obvious that those who chose to make their voices heard are still somewhat holding onto some tenuous strand of hope that Molina Healthcare will "settle down" to some kind of re-worked company that can be relied on to provide a continued paycheck for the foreseeable future. The truth is you are fooling yourselves and putting your family at risk by hanging on.

There is no future with Molina Healthcare. Recent posts about converting remote positions to office-based are all true. This is an effort to get loyal home based workers to quit so the company doesn't have to pay severance or worry about unemployment claims by former employees.. You know why this makes sense? Because that's exactly what I would do. Ask yourselves when the last time you woke up excited to go to work for this place. Ask yourselves how many years off your lives the stress and pressure of performing your duties while the company STILL has not mentioned a single WORD about their grand reorganization plan for the years ahead. Joe White and other top execs know that the only way out is to sell off the contracts they have to the highest bidder and pocket the cash to satisfy the board and other investors.

YOU DO NOT MATTER TO MOLINA HEALTHCARE. WHY SHOULD MOLINA HEALTHCARE MATTER TO YOU?

Get out now before the other shoe drops for God's sake and stop holding out for any positive change that will NEVER COME. Sheep get sheared people. Don't be a sheep and take control of your destiny. Work full time in seeking another, better position with a company that will be around in two years. Don't wait until you are desperate for something before acting. Be smart about this; and I say that because many of us are so very tired and sad that it seems exhausting to think of doing something else - finding something else - but we have to.

@QgxdFMR-3vgq I have to agree with you. After seeing all of this transpire starting with the Molina's being fired...I keep thinking....this IS healthcare in the US, this IS capitalism and this is unorganized labor. You are 100% correct. All these months later, folks are upset they are seeing their former jobs posted by Molina. Yup. They can do that and they are. That young person with more tech knowledge than the loyal worker who needs the healthcare benefits and retirement money....that young person is cheaper than YOU. Labor can't fight capitalism alone. Unions are flawed, sure. But if Molina employees had organized, this would be a very different picture now. Thank you @QgxdFMR-3vgq for this post.
