Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is o.t. pay, RM says NO o.t. pay and suggested stores close on that day and observe the holiday.

Ok sign on door will be-"store closed due to payroll restraints-good luck to all the teams that have games today-sorry we were not open for your fans to shop"

Don't count on anything profound from RG; he's an ego that is always on a trip, and stuck in the old days at Ace. He couldn't make it at Ace today; they are too advanced for him now.

Big brains at the top will cut cut cut until April 1 and do anything they can to move profits from next year into this one. Same old short term thinking from the ceo that promised long term thinking. His only long term thinking is about not ever giving raises again.

Simply hang a sign, we're closed in observance of Veterans' Day.

That won't work at our store. Contract with school is that the store is open when THEY request us to be open. OT it is for us. So short staffed we would have had to close the store mid week to avoid it.
