6 month gap required unless you want to payback the severence. 90 day period required if you quit to come back as a contractor.

I was just recently informed that an Exit Interview that is discussed with you (either you retire or involuntary leave) includes a question if you would be willing to rehire back to AT&T. I have known several individuals who have been rehired after retirement, and as employees, not just as a contractors.

The only stipulation with that is there is a 6 month period before you can be rehired if you took severence.

Other than that, if you left on good terms and didn't burn bridges etc, there's no reason you would ever be listed as non-hireable.
