Ever increasing competition from Amazon, CHEGG & Barnes and Nobles.
Bundles, e books, loose-leaf textbooks, rentals, and early purchasing are all contributing to huge declines in buyback.
Our store is chockablock with rentals. So much for interstore transfers relieving us of that dead weight.
Bought some back, did not need my BB checks though, mostly rentals, which is better, unless stores are stuck with them in our 'warehouses'.
Hmmmm! A cornerstone of the follett business model is failing? Go figure.
