I’ve seen a few coworkers passed up for a promotion despite showing initiative, dedication and excellent skillsets. Instead I’ve seen these promotions given based on nepotism and favoritism. How are we supposed to have career growth when the way is blocked by a few in Management who save promotions for those that haven’t earned them?
Many of my coworkers in various departments have left Ally in favor of other banking institutions that base career growth and promotions on experience, productivity and quality of skillset.
If this keeps up Ally will be losing alot more of their top performers. Having friends within the company is okay, but having hard working dedicated employees is better. You need to start rewarding them for their work.
