Everything is to quiet. We went from worrying that our positions in Marketing would be eliminated to now, not so sure Marketing will be going away! Wish they would make up their minds.

Had to laugh. One thing is coming and it was shown at the YBM meeting. You will be able to scan members drivers license and their info will show on the membership

screen . Just need to verify info is correct. Less then 3 mins for signup. Do not see membership desk being totally eliminated .

Target can do refunds at a regular register..... so can Sam's club as far as credit sign ups that's already happening at registers...and if you look on the wire they are changing the membership sign ups to less than 3 minutes.... on I pads...so I see future with no desk needed

There is a self kiosk coming that’s no joke. This will eliminate lines and the amount of time you spend in line. There will still be a hand full of associates to help the dumb--ses out. Most members still can’t figure out what side of the register they need to be on. Think about it look at the self check kisok for vip and self check members do not know how to follow direction. There is that one othe lingering question who will they b--ch and yell at for not having a product.

and the only remaining “desk” will be the complaint desk albeit very long lines. self refunds, self membership and credit sign up, any questions, type in and poof, here’s the answer. wait! this started out as a joke but on second thought? think about it folks look back 10 yrs ago if you’ve been around, would you have envisioned the changes we’ve seen and definitely will over the next year or two. personally i would never have seen the cash recycler.

Yep, the company plans on greeting rid of our service desk. No more refunds, no more signing new members up. If members have issues with their memberships, they are SOL.
