Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

ETW vendors & sh--

Does anyone know what they pay contractor agencies on an hourly basis for senior software engineers (rough estimate)? I think my agency is underpaying me with the current margin and I have also heard that Nike is paying them a lot for my services. If this doesn't change I will walk away. Their culture towards ETWs is messed up. FTE people with less education and less skills go and work out while I am working.

Those rates are obsolete. I have verified information they are paying for one of our contractors between 120 and 140$ for AWS skills.

Who mentioned lunch in the OPs post? :) I see - you are one of those s---ers that runs and then eats lunch at his/her desk pretending you are working... and then you go home at 3. That doesn't play well in a tech world, but after all Nike is not a tech company.

You are a hired gun paid hourly, you should expect to get fte benefits. I highly doubt you have a manager that is forcing you to work through lunch. No one is going to stop you from going on a run at lunch. It appears to me you want to work out and get paid for the time to work out. Not going to happen, join as a fte or find a new company that will pays for contractors to eff around like full time employees.

I pay 84.50 for Sr. AE from the ITO firms. I also brought on an AE from a Boutique firm for AWS engineering work at 108.00.

Maybe they are smarter than you think. They get you to do the work.
