Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Below poster, I haven’t stopped looking at MPS, but I did stop reading call reviews because they are wildly inconsistent and often just idiotic.

I don’t even look at my MPS anymore. Completely disgusted with how Humana has messed up a good program.

@-htg How are you being told to defend your MPS while at the same time being told there is no metric to meet? You arent the first person who has said this and with these "outside companies" making the decisions, my fear is they have kept some pretty awful coaches while getting rid of some good ones.

Just reading down this post, there are examples of this.

@ poster - bdt-- I also have a coach who heavily favors original team members over reteamed associates, and also is much friendlier with male PHC's than with female PHC's.

I am one of the lucky ones who she seems to favor, however it is obvious to all of us that she is extremely inconsistent, imbalanced and emotional.

Right. Some of the “most competitive” coaches remaining have some shady practices. Just ask around. Not all coaches, but just ask around. Guess that’s the direction we are heading in.

Ugh, below poster. Some of the hccp coaches that are left - not all, and I’ll assume your coach is just overwhelmed- but some that remain are so shady. A number of the coaches who focused on quality and treated their reports with respect are gone or going.

I feel bad for some of the phc’s about to reteam. I can tell you my coach doesn’t take well to anyone who isn’t an original member of her team. She’s got issues and the reteamed associates are in for a sad surprise.

HR has been informed. Nothing was done.

I wasn’t affected by the last lay off, but I do have serious concern about the future of HAH going forward. My coach informed us yesterday she has been “illegally” sending our rosters to CT to lower the red. This was the same coach, who insisted we take our time when tele-modularity first started, not worry about the red and focus on members and exploring amp/imp and focus on great outcomes. Now we are told to focus on reaching as many people we can in a day, not given any metric to go off of, and told to watch our MPS and have an action plan ready to defend ourselves with if and when it gets brought up in a meeting with the COM’s. Sounds pretty fishy to me.

Right. The site specifically states, “Post information you know, rumors you heard, your experiences, or contribute to the discussion by answering or asking about layoffs at Humana Inc..”.

The poster is asking about the future of an area of the company- a question like that is clearly related to concerns about future layoffs and is by no means a “stupid question.”

Hey “stupid question” poster - you do realize this is a layoff site? A post about the future of HAH is not only far from stupid, it is actually quite appropriate here.

Yes, there is speculation on a layoff site. Some information shared here has panned our, some just rumors. That is going to happen on a layoff site. If questions about what’s next, speculation, or discussion about the topic upsets you, I would stay off this site.

The question was Does any body know the plan for HAH? The answer is No. Nobody knows what the plan is anyone who claims they do are either guessing or lying. QED: Stupid question.

There are plans for HAH going into 2018. The size and scope will be considerably smaller and dependent on membership numbers for 2018

They have not enrolled members into HAH since June. Need I say more? I don't think you need a crystal ball to see the future of this program.

That is not a stupid question considering there was info posted on here months ago that did indeed become true. But I do see in my crystal ball a life full of bitterness from you that you must try to counter by attempting to belittle others. Good luck in life and try to keep those thoughts to yourself in the future.
