Has anyone heard if they are keeping the comp. Shopper ? Isn't this a management function that was pawned off to an hourly anyway ?

beyond useless job. wasted payroll not to mention 250$ or more a month in mileage payout. needs to go. all the job eliminations that have happened and will happen did necessary work this is an insult to keep this job
Come on are the audits at your club done correctly. How was your club inventory? Team leads have enough on their plates do not add more😭
How long does it take to go to another store and check the prices? With everything online they'll probably just do away with it and run some program to check local prices and adjust it down. Why have two stores each send 1 comp shopper to the same Costco?
No Costco = no comp shopper.
Costco = comp shopper.
It’s not a difficult concept as management and TLs don’t have time to go do comp shopping. Steady and accurate price drops are very important to maintain members who like saving money. Costco sends theirs in to Sam’s all the time.
Comp shopper is a position that is NOT needed! Wasted payroll is what it is.
comp shopper is a completely useless and unnecessary job. payroll could be better spent in club
Again, not true 1llg-Just because your club doesn't have one doesn't mean it's not a position.. there are still plenty of clubs that they reopened the position due to proximity to major competitors! Been doing it for 3 yrs now ever since a costco opened near us!
That position is not even a true position they did away with it about 6 yrs ago
Not true 1bec...we do more than hang signs....as our title says we are competition shoppers...this means we have to leave club and go to competition to get prices and report to corporate...team leads needed in building, not out of club!
I don't see why not. I mean the talk of PTC and membership why not them? This job can easily be done by team leaders just Ike the audits are done by leads now.
