Humana is as transparent as mud. Last one to leave HAH please turn out the lights.

I hate we all are having to go through this. I would love to reach out to my coworkers that have been impacted but was instructed not to and this has been the request with each layoff.

@Q89yGJn-kbg Thank you so much for your encouraging words.. I have been with HAH for 7 years and this program looks nothing like it did when I started. I was impacted but it wasnt a surprise to me. I do think that people are insensitive on this site and many come to antagonize others. People are hurting and I think one of the things that hurt me most was how others knew that I was impacted but never reached out to say anything at all. I believe that the world is so insensitive these days so I guess that is expected. I wish all others the best as well and celebrate those that were able to keep their jobs. Take care of yourself

My gut instinct is that HAH will be whittled down maybe non existent with poor management

Not gone yet! But the writing is all over the walls! I agree with above poster, let’s not eat each other up ! Seems like people’s PTSD with this situation is bringing out the ugly! Let’s just help each other and build each other up! we will get through this!!!!! Best of luck to all.

I can't speak for other communities since friends in other states have more positive experiences with Humana. I think it depends on region that is being served, but in my state, my members HATE Humana and a lot of mine are choosing other insurance plans, even further jeapardizing my almost extinct job. They are apologetic to me and I simply tell them that I am not a sales person and that they need to do what is best for them and their families. Selfishly, I wish they would stay but I understand. However, I know that this too will be laid on me as my responsibility that they are leaving though it is not me, but the system who has failed these particular high risk members. Even the program that once was Humana at Home has changed so much. We are now burdened with all of these new "programs" and charting that is unreasonable and ridiculous. Hours have been exhausting and now, though the hours are a bit lower, the push to meet numbers is more important than the quality of care given to members. I hate to say it, but as traumatizing as a job change can be, I am a bit jealous that I was not chosen yet for the layoff. I am hoping it will be this week as I no longer share Humana's vision and I no longer belong here. My heart goes out to those who have been so deeply affected and it hurts my heart to see the bashing on this site of each other because, it was not too long ago that we were comrades and teammates and working together to serve our members. Yes. I am ready to move on too, I just have not been given permission to do so and will need my severance to carry me through until I find another job. Please don't eat each other alive. May God be with you and help you find a much better job than you can ever imagine. I know it is the last bell toll but lets not break this up with arguing and fighting amongst ourselves for those who were once just my coworkers are now my comrades and friends. I do sincerely wish you the best in your journey.

A tough year marked by false reassurances.

Not gone. It’s been a tough year and we are not sure what’s next.

We have heard speculation of Feb or March layoffs to come, but that may depend on open enrollment results.
