I close 3 nights and probably more they constantly changing the lead schedules. If it were up to the managers they would close us every night so they can sit in their a--. I thought the reason for optimize was for business needs not the lazy managers needs. I wish there was someone to talk to outside of club. I’ve talked to the manager and the club manager nothing was done. How’s that fair when the managers themselves close 1 night a week and leads 3 to 4. #homelife #holidays #1-10everynight #notfaimilyfriendly #managersclubmanagerceohomeeverynight

Q7jgSqu-6cah ‘Tis a myth that such place exists. Floor TLs were forced to have one close every night so the managers could avoid even going near the sales floor.

Q7jgSqu-4aol Is clearly an unprepared manager that failed upwards somehow into their job or someone who was passed up for a TL job. If they truly believe that team leads have no responsibilities there are a lot of reports, audits, and merchandising plans that have been getting done by a magical crew of pixies at their club.

At least 5 or 6 tasks or reports that need looked at on a daily or weekly basis before even setting foot on the sales floor.

@ Q7jgSqu -4brf why don't you try keeping your opinions to yourself. Maybe we are worried about having to start over somewhere else instead of being unhappy as you pointed out. This website is for venting also so why do you bother getting on here if you're so happy. Smart $$$

You all need to get a life and stop letting this site upset you! Why if you all so unhappy why do you stay, at some point you need to look at yourself. Everyone has options how about going back to school or even a new company. I’m a lead as well do l worry hell yes but, we all need to take responsibility for the career paths we have taken. Sams club is not the only company eliminating or down sizing look at the news open a news paper everyday it’s happening everywhere. I’m in the same boat as everyone else 25 years with the company don’t let the small stuff ruin your life, life’s too short live it!

in the near future all so called leads will be gone. there is no need to have them. now if they were say 45 hr salaried and actually had responsibilities then that makes more sense. they would have primary areas but would cover entire floor. and not as stockers or making freakin signs but actually managing the floor leaving asst mgrs to do more of the crap that’s put on them. leads as they are now is senseless and payroll wasted

Ok. So mgmt in my club can't even handle scheduling. How the f**k r they gonna pick up ptc role lead role and "manage" get real walmart stop trying to increase your profit for higher up bonus. U want focus om member service. Yea right my associates are leaving in hoards right before the holidays. So they need to rethink these eliminations cause we are basically the fricken back bone managers come and go. I have seen 23 club managers in my facility and we have only been open 25 YEARS. THIS HAS TO SAY something about what is really going on

a lead anything is not necessary. extra payroll for nothing Mgrs are taking on more responsibility so more active in their areas. they stock shelves do memb assistance just like a produce or floor stocker would do. give it another 2 yrs and they will be gone. a bakery lead is as useless as a cafe lead or membership etc. more payroll for nothing. all leads will go away in short time just as all full time jobs. if you’re smart nows the time to think ahead and get out. sam’s hourly is not a career merely a stepping stone or second job temporarily

Yes just saying they supposed to be working on floor. Once we are all gone they will find some sap to pretend to be a lead. There’s always one on the crowd that will kiss a-- for a few crumbs,
