Where are yall located? Are all Layoffs from one market or spread out?
Just an fyi... my coach stated that an email just went out to the coaches that had impacted associates to attend a training and there were 1300 people laid off this timebut I dont know if it was only Humana at Home because it was rumored Humana also laid off. I guess we will have to wait to get the official number by reading it in the Louisville news article.
I totally agree its very difficult coming in today and continuing like everythings peachy. I came from a crappy life to Humana. I felt so blessed to have found a great job paying great money. I am raising my grandbaby and my 16 yr old daughter. I am praying i find another position here but can say im thankful to get severance. It gives me time to find something else. Im so heartbroken.
It is also going to be hard as usual to be all Miss Mary Sunshine for those of us left that some how escaped this layoff. However, I believe it is just to clear more over to Monitored and shortly around Jan. 1st, we will probably get our confidential email that none of the COMs or Coaches say they knew about with your layoff or any future layoffs. I call BS all the way around. Going to be a lot of people now that will find another job and leave, but it is not the easiest finding another job. Plus, it is during the holidays. We all deserve better than this corporate giant can give us. Hope your relief from the company is quick and you all find a nice new job fast. Praying for all! Also, find it odd that the COM is not allowed to give us a number of how many were let go. Plus, I have no idea how many were let go on my team. I only know of one, because they told me. Transparency here is the worst. The only transparency that is given is on your audits on missed opportunities and blah blah blah. Sorry, had to vent. Another week of not wanting to continue this fake crap job!
This sounds right. They moved the layoff forward because of the mess with the UPS emails. I would guess at another 2 weeks.
I was told by my coach that usually those who are laid off are “released” the Friday after the week of notification. That would mean this coming Friday. However, my coach also shared she was told by her COM we may not be released quite that quickly this time because the layoffs were “rushed”. We may get stuck having to stick it out and pretending everything is fine to our members for an extra week. I really hope that isn’t the case. This week is going to be hard enough as it is. Pretending to be Miss Mary Sunshine on the phone with my members is going to be a nightmare.
